Stanisław Kłapkowski
Stanisław Kłapkowski: advocate, member of the Regional Chamber of Advocates in Warsaw, graduate of the Department of Law and Administration at Warsaw University, he passed his bench exam as a judge at the Court of Appeals in Warsaw.
He specializes in corporate law, particularly in M&A transactions, civil procedure, enforcement law and bankruptcy and restructuring law.
He has guided a number of acquisition transactions from start to finish, conducting and coordinating due diligence, developing share purchase agreements through to closing the transactions. He has participated in company mergers, transformation of corporate legal form and actions aimed at squeezing out minority shareholders.
He authored and issued opinions on numerous investment agreements, shareholder agreements, and was involved in the preparation of information memoranda and prospectuses preceding IPOs. He has experience in court proceedings before arbitral tribunals and civil courts, including enforcement proceedings. He is also engaged in debt collection. He has gained experience in the operations of charitable foundations, operations of companies in the electro-technical, IT and power sectors (including renewable sources of power), as well as securing and utilizing EU funding.
In the course of his career to date, Stanisław Kłapkowski has provided comprehensive legal assistance to both large companies operating as part of international corporations (ABB Sp. z o.o.) and Polish entities (AKJ Capital S.A., LUX MED sp. z o.o).
When at the law firm of Domański Zakrzewski Palinka, he provided legal services to many prominent Polish companies.
